I studied Photographic Design at the Dutch Academy for Applied Photography in Rotterdam. It turned out to be the start of an intensive search for who I am as a photographer. Started as a convinced street photographer, I was tempted and challenged to apply other forms of photography. Instructive, sometimes confusing, enthusing and sometimes disappointing. Eventually I found myself somewhere, although I don't know for how long. And in the end I found out that you can't go around it: you always make selfies.
Most of my life I worked as a management consultant, although I had some other professions to, like: bus driver, street corner worker, social worker, car mechanic and professional soldier.
